Description:
Drive and deliver product to customers in a safe, productive, efficient, accurate and timely manner -- following established policies and procedures.
Requirements:

Duties include:

  • Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicle and all other appropriate paperwork.
  • Fill out truck manifest.
  • Fill out daily trip records including log book and duty sheets.
  • Attend monthly safety meetings.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures as well as local, state and federal regulations and laws.
  • Commit to high performance by maintaining regular, consistent attendance, punctuality, personal appearance, and adherence to relevant health and safety procedures.

    Requirements include:

  • Able to drive tractor/trailers loaded with cylinders and freight and deliver goods to branch stores/customers.
  • Class “A” CDL with T&X endorsements required and a good driving record.
  • Must have a current DOT medical certificate.
  • At least 24 months experience driving Class A vehicles preferred.
  • Must be at 21 years of age (due to insurance reasons).
  • Follow all procedures as outlined by DOT regulations and company policy.
  • Physical requirements include: Lift/move up to 50-70 lbs., occasionally lift 150-750 lbs. with lifting device.
  • DOT drug screen, physical and background check required.
  • Additional Information:

    Salary Range: The salary range represents the low and high end of the base salary for this position which is $29.00/hr.-$45.00/hr.-DOE (depending on experience).
